Clearwater Beach, Florida -- Hulk Hogan has opened a retail store in the Pelican Walk.

The store had a soft opening over the weekend, and is still in the process of stocking its shelves with T-shirts, books, costumes and other merchandise promoting the world famous wrestler and north beach resident.

The merchandise will also be offered on the store's website, which plans to be up and running in about two weeks.

St. Petersburg, Florida -- While Winter is lighting up the big screen in the movie "Dolphin Tale", the film's exposure is bringing big bucks to the local economy.

That's according to a new study by the USF St. Petersburg College of Business. The study says the local economic impact of the movie will be more than a half-billion dollars next year, and it could triple that by 2016. Over the next five years, the impact could come to $5 billion over five years.

Clearwater, Florida -- A huge mural of 'Winter' the tailless dolphin now welcomes visitors to Clearwater Beach.

The 18' by 45' mural is on the east side of the Pier House 60 hotel just south of the roundabout, facing the beach marina and the Memorial Causeway.

It was commissioned by the hotel developer and created by artist John Schunck. It shows 'Winter' using her prosthetic tail to leap from the water.

A second artwork is also planned for the hotel, a rolling ball kinetic motion sculpture that will be installed in the hotel's lobby.
