Old drug collections set for April 28 | Events

Clearwater, Florida -- Residents can get rid of their old medicines safety during Operation Medicine Cabinet, police say.

On Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents can drop off medicine they no longer need at a collection point in the east parking lot of the Westfield Countryside Mall.

The safe disposal program is open to citizens only, and not commercial concerns No biohazards or needles will be accepted.

The program is run by the Clearwater Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency and Pinellas County Diversion Task Force Coalition.
