CMA speaker series explores sea turtle nesting | Events

Clearwater Beach, Florida - Sea turtle nesting is the theme of the latest program in the educational "Making Waves" series at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

Research Biologist Kelly Martin of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center of Juno Beach will be the keynote presenter. She will talk about current studies of leatherneck sea turtle nesting, tagging and tracking programs in Palm Beach County.

Also discussed will be sea turtle nesting on the Pinellas Beaches, and the aquarium's sea turtle monitoring program.

The program is free and will be held Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the aquarium, 249 Windward Passage, on Island Estates.
