Council OK's Mandalay Pier demolition | News
Clearwater, Florida - By unanimous vote, the city council decided tonight to tear down the Mandalay Pier.
The capital project will cost about $90,000 and remove from the north beach the elevated boardwalk that has been a landmark for some 50 years.
