Clearwater Beach, Florida - Two new restaurants have opened their doors on Clearwater Beach.

Britts, which closed its LaGuna Grill months ago, has reopened in the same building as the Surf Style mega store and parking garage on South Gulfview Boulevard It opens up onto the Beach Walk.

Toucans Bar and Grill opened last week at 431 Mandalay Avenue. The sports bar features 14 TV screens and is open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.

Across the street, the former Beach Bar, which closed last Jan. 1, is being gutted and refurbished for a hamburger franchise. And two blocks south, work proceeds on the new Hooter's restaurant, scheduled to open next month.
