Woman dies in beach balcony fall | News

Clearwater Beach, Florida - A 31-year-old woman died early Saturday morning when she fell from a 9th floor balcony of a north beach condominium, police said.

The victim was identified as Antoinette DeJesus of Clearwater.

Police said she fell from the 9th floor balcony at the Regatta Beach Club, 880 Mandalay Avenue around 3:45 a.m.

"According to a preliminary investigation, it appears her death was accidental and is not deemed suspicious at this time," stated public safety spokeswoman Elizabeth Watts.
