Sand wall coming to Pier 60 | News

Clearwater Beach, Florida -- Visitors wondering what's going on with chain link fencing at Pier 60 can wonder no more.

The city has closed off an area north of the pier and the entertainment pavilion for construction of a wall like the one that runs along the parking lot at Mandalay park, between Frenchy's and the Palm Pavilion.

It will replace a wooden fence that has become too weather-worn and unsightly.
